LOL

Cant go wrong with stuff meant for semi trucks:

No more couplers exploding, but I keep blowing pipes of the couplers at just 9psi, wtf

^^damn, i had a similar problem...at stock boost, i was blowing my rubber coupler straight off the throttle body...the hose clamp wasn't strong enough, so i had to go to the truck store and get a truck hose clamp to keep the coupler connected to the throttle body

T-bar clamps FTW, bead roll the ends of the pipe for a little extra too.

Tbar clamps for sure. Thats suprising it would blow the rubber apart

Yeah you need T-bolt clamps and bead roll piping that would prevent the couplers sliding out of the pipe.

you can use JBweld to make a bead on the pipe as well if you don't have a bead roller for pipes avialable.

Hmm Ive never had a problem blowing couplers off but Im still only at 7psi. But blowing one apart lol thats why I paid $20 per coupler for some heavy duty ones, peace of mind is a great thing.

If the ends of the pipe are bead rolled you can use just about any type of clamp this side of a zip tie. Bead rolling is huge. But if you don't want to deal with that, wash the inside and outside of the coupler and the pipe so its squeaky clean, make sure your useing the correct size conector, lube the conector up with a little hand soap and slide it together with t-bolt clamps. Ones the soap dries you can tow the car from the connector. I've run 40+ psi on this technique and rarely had a problem. The connector that is split in the pic is a none reinforced one. Look for the fabric, polymer, nylon reinforment material in a connector made for boost. In my eperience you want at least 2 layers of the stuff for most street turbo setups. Vibrant performance sells conectors, not cheap but they are the goods.

EDIT:And look I can edit my stuff.

my guess is your motor is twisting in the mounts, and yanking the piping causing that coupler to tear
