tips for removing oil pressure switch?
What size wrench or deep socket do I need to remove the oil pressure switch. I had a 24mm wrench (too small) and a 30mm socket (too big) so I guess it has to be either a 26 or 28mm? I'll have to pick up something at Autozone tomorrow.

Any tips for removing the sensor? There is barely any room for leverage due to the passenger axle in the way. Any quick way to remove it that doesn't involve removing the passenger axle?

The oil pressure sensor?

Unscrew the old one, screw the new one in, wrap the threads with teflon tape, start it in by hand, get her nice and snug, torque it to spec.

Oh I remember the problems with my Lowport. They sell a special socket for the sensor, I found that I could find an actual socket in the same size for cheaper ha.

The best thing I've ever done was, remove it completely and install a manual gauge.

Vadim do you remember what socket size I need? I need to buy it tomorrow so I can get the car back on the road.

No sir, ask them if they have one in stock and find socket for it. Advance Auto Parts had mine in stock.

IIRC, 1 and 1/16 is what I used.

1 1/16" deep socket from Autozone did the job well! BTW why did Nissan engineers put that damn brace on the intake manifold? (the one that's near the starter and connects to the top and bottom of the manifold). That **** is annoying and bruised up a few knuckles. Long story short, it didn't get put back in!

Remove that V-brace and throw it in the garbage. It only gets in the way.

haha it already went out with the recycle!

Also why the heck did Nissan put those two small nuts for the upper oil pan in that niche next to the flywheel? That thing was a pain in the butt to get out.

27mm socket.

BWD- :Shudder:

I don't like using Teflon tape. I prefer the thread sealant. I've had too many issues with teflon having small leaks.
