save the money and get the 2871r
I have a disco now, and will be upgrading soon to the 2871r

You can see the disco would respond tons better for an autox car. The response cannot be touched. Def not from a 2871r. The 2871r will make a ton more power, but if you ask me, the disco would own it pretty bad when it comes to response. The disco I had made over 340whp on 18psi and 350wtq at 4500. It felt NA.

But for power? The 2871r owns, and it fits in the same location. Just dont mess around with the small housing. .86 or go home.

It wasn't a question of what turbo guys... The disco is already on the way. What size are the factory oil lines equivalent to? Do I need the restrictor if I use the factory lines? Is it absolutely necessary?

Just trying to cover my bases here guys. Trust me if I could afford the gt2871r anytime soon then I would have waited.

what exactly is going to be a pain about running a hy35? if you already have it I think it might be cheaper than getting the disco. The response won't be anywhere near that, however it is not bad for the size. I run a HX35 I have a stock manifold with an external gate and t3 flange welded on. I had to make a custom downpipe but that was easy and I suck at fabrication, I just make pie cuts and welded it. Now if you don't have and external gate or abilities to get welding done relatively inexpensive then it might be more cost effective to go with the disco.

once my car is running I plan on getting a twin scroll and I'd be willing to sell you the t3 manifold i have now if you ever want to run your hy35.

I didn't want the lack of response because I also like to corner .

I already suggested you get one. Garrett recommends it.
