Can you recommend a nice mbc? I don't want to spend a fortune but I want a quality piece for sure.

Oh and I forgot to mention that my Iridium BKR7E's are at .030", and I haven't gapped them. I don't think you are supposed to either.

These one's are just dandy.

There's also a similar model with a hand operated knob instead of tools required for similar price I just can't ever remember the name of it or find them. They are out there though.

Yah they tell you not to because if you use those coin shaped gapping tools you will ruin the Iridium tip. They can be gapped however with the correct wire gapping tool. It's not easy to do though.
0.030" sounds fine though.

eh you can get a ebay mbc they work great i have been using one for a while, i have held off on buying a ''quality'' one because the 10$ one i have works so well. its up to you though, but personally buying a really expensive one isnt needed much, you can also build a decent one too

Nothing really, car has just been sitting since the transmission went out. I drive it around the block in third every weekend to get the engine all heated up but other than that I don't do anything with it. I'm actually trying to sell it.

As far as my issues, I think the boost tapering off is the wastegate not being strong enough. To fix this (if I don't sell the car), I am going to take the MBC off, and use a spring on the actuator arm and attach it to the block of something so that the WG is harder to open. Then use the MBC to fine tune. Haven't decided if this is a good idea or not yet though.

I got the wideband wired in for the most part, will be testing it out soon (if the transmission will keep working long enough).

I have a feeling I'm going to need to go externally gated... Should I just get a dumb flange welded on to my current manifold?

you should probably get the trans situation fixed first.
