People with DSM bovs?
How many people have this bov? Any guy tried how many psi (uncrushed) is the limit for this (stock) bov? I found 18psi on google... The turbo is a t3/t4.

Thanks!

I read 17psi but whatever. The correct way to make them hold more is to drill out the housing not crushing the top. Its kind of a band-aid either way. There is no limit really it just starts leaking and bleeding off your boost.
I like mine its really nice for 9-12 psi.

There's a thread maybe a month old that had 8+ people saying they used one. I've always heard 18 psi as the un-modified limit as well and I'm pretty sure you can take that to the bank.
If you want more out of it there's the simple crush method, or I prefer the extra vacuum port method.

I use it..holds 12lbs fine. Once I get the 2871R on I may have to upgrade or mod it ;/

I have one too. It's crushed. t25 really can't mess with it.

I bought it for 2 reasons.

1. Cheap.
2. Better replacements fit the same flange.

This place KNOWS their dsms. I bought the flange there and had midas (mistake) weld it up. Ugly ass weld that leaked. They gave me 2 kick ass license plate frames too. I asked for them, my friend with with an evo was rear ended so he needed a replacement. They forgot to send me the 2nd one, but a week later sent it seperate without me reminding them.

I had one on my old set up. It held 18-19 psi un crushed.

I crushed mine. It holds 26psi easy. Never went any higher though, except one spike to 30+psi a long long time ago.

I crushed the crap out of it! Holds 24psi easily 100%.

The 1g 89-94 bov is a great cheap alternative. 89/90 was the year you wanted it from. Idk but they where better at holding pressure. I know when I had my GS-T it worked very well. The bov should see 18psi unmodified, 20-28psi crushed and 30psi when it drilled.
