Really? 4 small tapped holes into aluminum makes it so lid "can't blow off".... You haven't worked with pressure vessels ever before obviously. Poor design will require strong lid so that it won't burp... etc etc

So far I see <1hr of design and cnc time/setup. I'll hold my breath for being blown away.

Was that really necessary? If you aren't interested or don't have something constructive to say why are you posting? Why are you trying to ruin something for others that may be interested?

This is a hell of a lot better than the OE MAF lid that is held on with bubble gum, that can't hold boost at all.

That was constructive... I pointed out places that were weak and how to compensate for it without seeing the rest.

Trying to help those who don't know better. Not saying it won't work or that it looks like crap or anything.

OE MAF was designed to see vac only so of course it doesn't hold boost well.

these would be realli use full for people running z32 air flow meters on there intercooler piing
no worrying about cracking the plastic housing when running alot of boost and u could just weld it str8 onto ur intercooler piping

how much are u selling them for?

there isnt much pressure in side there
take a look at the standard z32 afm the lid is only glued on

4 bolts will work fine i dont see any problems with sealing

You need to read the post right above yours. All AFM's are designed with draw thru configuration in mind, not blow-thru. OF COURSE it's glued together. Throw 15psi at it and I GUARANTEE you're going to pop the top, Just like I did.
