Thread: which pistons

Im having to rebuild my DE+T and im wondering if anyone makes 9.5:1 CR forged pistons. I wouldnt mind goin to 10:1 either. I cant find anyone who makes either. I know someone has to do high compression forged pistons.

have you tried wiseco, i know they make alot of sr20/sr20det pistons

i looked and cant find anything. how much of a power loss would i feel if i used 9:1 pistons? Thats the highest i could find that wasnt over 10:1

Cp makes a 10.5:1 piston. I would still use the 9.0:1. I have the 9.0:1 pistons for my ve-t build.

unless you are running meth injection and have the means to tune well i wouldnt run that high of compression on a street motor.

jgy just told me that they have cp makes 9.5 pistons so im gonna get some of those. I think 9.5 is a good balance between high and low compression, and its what came stock in my motor.
