should not even start due to the firing cycle. the cylinder that is firing would not have fuel. You might get the motor to turn over after a few cranking revolutions due to fuel being present but it would not run.

UPDATE:: I swapped the harness and it idles now! Still running SUPER rich and/or not getting good spark. It just rumbles along and if I give it gas, It almost wants to rev up but then dies. TOO MUCH FUEL/NOT ENOUGH SPARK

Where should I go from here?

check your spark, see if its a bright white, or a dull yellow, could be indications of a bad ignition problem if the spark is yellow, maybe rotor button/cap/dizzy ect

I have the same problem. I bought a NEW air regulator and that fixed it somewhat but the idle is still all over the place.

I watched it idle with a timing light. I have the idle set at 1000revs, 12*advanced. When I watched it with the light, you could see it go to 20*+ when the idle gets under 500rpms and goes back to 12* when it revs back up.

Im sure my issue is base timing/base idle. The cts reads just fine through my obd2 scanner.

UPDATE:: I know it's been a while but here's the update. MAF, Distributer, TPS, and CTS are good. The apparent issue is that my injectors are just DUMPING fuel. Not proportioning the fuel as they are suppose to. We know this because when the distributer is disconnected, we can hear the plugs fire, but the injectors just click once(I'm assuming they are just Dumping fuel, staying open) I'm pretty sure they are suppose to just click with every turn of the distributer. What can cause this? and how can I test for this?

I fixed my idle. My bov springs were too soft so it would stay open at idle, making a huge intake leak. Check and make sure it stays closed when youre idling

I have to warm the car up for 3-5 mins though or it wont rev.
