Thread: Det with S4 Cams (questions)

I have a avenir. Its all stock besides turbo/injectors. I want to throw on some JWT S4 cams, stock valve train (i know its smart to get some after market valve train) but i was told the other day that stock valve train wont last long at all with S4's.
Anyone have a input on this?

they work fine with stock valve train, upgrading wouldnt be a bad thing, but its not 100% needed

i've been running them for at least 5 years on stock valve train in N/A and boosted setups with no problems.

Oh and i have done research just was wondering what others peoples inputs are...

put them in the car and run them. Youll love em stock valve train. Its a known fact that these will run on the stock train with no Issues

Ok that explains alot, my girl has an Ipod i can't type worth $#!t on it. Have fun with the S4's I will be upgrading to them when I get a bigger turbo next summer...

Yeah I can't type worth my life on that thing haha. I will up date this and let everyone know how I like them. I'm sure I will be pretty happy, read a lot of good things about them.
