It was a SR20DE+T.... didn't know until I talked to the previous previous owner... he said that was the motor he built and it had like 220-230k miles on it. I should've known when I picked the car up, it was burning oil bad, and had a hesitation after 4k rpm's. Almost felt like a fuel cut issue after 4200ish. Changed the spark plugs, wires, did an oil change and went for a test drive. It felt awesome, so I got on it a little bit more, next thing I know... I caused a backup of traffic on I-95 with a cloud of burnt oil behind me
I know it was running lean, but this was my first turbo car, so I didn't know too much about it. I couldn't tell you what my A/F Ratio was, it's been 2 years. It was also 14lbs on a little t25. All is good though, I learned my lessons, learned alot about turbo cars and got a new motor to replace that one. This new motor is a DET too!
FYI, if anyone wants anything out of this motor besides that piston... lemme know, I got everything taken apart. Crank/bearings dont look too bad, and I'd probably sell that dirt cheap since I dont need it
