How much lag from this set up?
On a legacy gt with 2.5l turbo...

$1500 plus whatever shipping ends up being

*Garrett GT30R Turbo kit, .83 A/R
*Perrin Rotated Uppipe
*TiAl Wastegate
*Tial BOV
*K&N 4" custom Intake Kit with MAF sensor holder

3" turbo back, fmic, fuel pump and injector up grades, maybe 400awhp and similar tq on pump gas..

I actually help my bro inlaw on his 2004 STi build.

We ran the same set-up (you probally mean the .82 a/r back) with PE 850CC injectors, FMIC, Walbro Pump, and with a Utec. Full Boost was definately before 4000, I would say 20psi by 3700 or so.

The car last dyno'd 370WHP @ 23psi with much more room to play.

All the .63a/r and .82a/r Lag discussions on the Subaru forums are pointless. .82a/r is definately the way to go on the EJ25.

What are you using the car for? Your power band is not gonna be that long, your better off with a 16 or 20G. There are also other hand full of good turbos for Scoobys. Send me a PM if you got any question.

No it will not be to laggy, we are running a 35R with not much lag on a built STI..... but I think your dreaming for hitting 400whp on pump gas with a scooby. Those cars just need alot more boost to make power. Maybe if you are dynoing on a dynojet could you get close to 400awhp on pump gas, but on a dynodynamics not a chance..... Throw some race gas at the car on your 30R and you'll get there.... You doing an open ECU tune or maybe using Cobb tuning?

cobb tuning. The guy selling it said it made 387hp, 395 tq on pump on a conseravtive tune from "pdx" maybe, I forget, but it was a decent tuner.

Its a deal in progress, I am working on low balling him, so we shall see

On the subies I'm a fan of the big 16G. we put one on my buddy's soob and he put down 340awhp on a mustang dyno with a torque curve that you could land a boeing on. I think full boost was around 3400rpms and it just didn't quit. It was a forced performance tuned with StreetTUNER, Perrin up pipe, Daddy's 3" turbo back, deatscherks 600cc injectors, and a huge action XSPower top mount. Pulls like a freight train and very little boost for how big the turbo looked.
