Thread: anyone running new precision turbos?

Im only shooting for around 500whp so I was thinking the 5857 would suffice, although they are all the same price so you might as well go ahead and get the 6262. I just think that the 6262 would be overkill for what Im wanting to make and I wouldn't want to sacrifice spool time for power that I wont use.

When I build my engine next year, It will have a billet BB 6765. 700+whp here I come...

im running the sc6176 and love it, havent had any complaints about it at all, would buy another precision turbo again

Im running the PTE 6765 38psi and makin 800hp.. its a great turbo.. email me your goal and setup and i would be happy to lead you in the right direction..

I'd like to see the transient response difference on the BB turbos vs the PT. The BB is hailed so greatly from the rally guys, and the drifters. I wonder if the gains in response are worth it. I love my response.

But i would like to see dyno comparison of a 6262 vs a sc61. According to my dyno graph I spool like a disco, but make 100whp more. Realistically though, I lose transient response to the smaller turbo. What you expect?

well I should have a graph of a 6262 against a gt35r soon ....it will be interesting ...in a week or so or at least some but dyno on it

Coheed I would like to see the comparison of the ballbearing to journal as well, I was wondering if the extra 500 bucks is worth the spool time.
