It sounds like you are going to have a little more blow by than a motor with equal numbers for compression. If you can take a picture of your engine bay and how you have your stuff setup for some suggestions and a critique.

Otherwise you might try a new dipstick with a newer rubber seal as a band-aid.

You might have to step up your system for blow by, larger hose and fitting, maybe a bigger open fitting from the PVC valve to the system to take care of the problem.

This pic is from the link previously provided earlier in this thread. The best I can do right now while at work. Anything specific you wanna see? Like i said, I had to re-locate my
catch can.

id try a new dipstick. and a new pcv wouldnt hurt either...

and as far as the oil pan leak, I would drain the oil, degrease the lower half of the engine, and then put oil back in and start it up, and watch for it to start again....

Ok I didn't see it then I guess. That works for the picture.

Is the second part of the T on the valve cover open?

I will try and find some pics to help you tidy your set up up.

Ok I just MS painted on your photo if you want to improve on what you have. The way you have it you are letting oil into your intake. It is how the stock system is designed but that oil lowers your detonation threshold, increases mis fires and makes your motor run hotter. You might want to adjust it a little. You may still be seeing your dip stick pop out.If you swap the PVC valve for a hollow fitting (no valve inside) that might help venting some more pressure.

Or you want to go the extra mile find a new can (or make your own) and give each source of blow by it's own nipple on the can you could get rid of even more of that pressure.

in the first picture you MS painted, youre saying cap the pvc hoses on the valve cover and to send the pvc to the oil catch can? youre also saying to cap off the intake and put a filter on the catch can? im draw through, thatll boggle my idle. i already had it like that previously before this setup. the drain hose IS tee'd. you cant see it in that pic but it is.

did that, its definately the lower pan. it doesnt leak at idle, it only leaks while driving or after i shut the car off. my undercarriage is soaked right straight back from the oilpan, but does not leak at idle....how i know it leaks while driving. i keep cardboard under where i park to A: keep the crap off the driveway and B: monitor the leak. so with that and the slight dipstick pop, reason i think im boosting the crankcase. sigh. i swore id never EVER sell my car, but this is frustrating i barely even drive it. shoot, i get the same gas mileage in my pickup! lol

maybe there is a pinhole or a crack somewhere in the lower pan or upper pan? But you'd have to disassemble it to figure that out.

I figured you had the tee at the drain but what about the tee at the valve cover?

It your idle changed it is because either you didn't cap the intake well enough or else you are leaking air at the valve cover or somewhere in the motor and the ecu has compensated for it IMO. The idle change will be for the better.

no pinhole or crack. was a new pan when i assembled the motor.

what about tee a valve cover? one is blocked as instructed in the thread.
you can see in the pic it is capped with a bolt and hose clamp.

Oh ok if the tee is blocked then no problem. I have a POS low res monitor.

If you have an oil leak with the motor warmed up. To take a wild guess,it might be time to find a fuel resistant RTV. There could be just enough fuel in the oil to make the run of the mill RTV leak.
