Agreed. A cometic even with GE headstuds would suffice. I've been sitting back and watching you (after all, you're the guinnea pig now!), and the obvious choice is the GE/VET combo. With that Aquamist and another 10psi of boost, I should run the turbo out of air. 30psi sure would be nice

sound like a plan cliff. I would look into water/meth just for fun. I have a kit sitting in my huge parts pile.

I will let you all know how the Cometic/AEBS combo works. I also plan on running high boost.

No just the ve gasket I believe. You can use the ve gasket on a de head. Everything is the same except the oil port for the vvl.

Not to nitpick here, but i documented what I would consider to be an obvious flaw in the cometic design. The holes in the gasket that align with the dowel pins are too large, and this can cause the gasket to sit off-center.

I have the same setup ...there is a cossworht gasket on my shelf though just incase ....so far so good ...

No, I was just referring to the VE headgasket. I would do VET, but I REALLY want out of the car.
