valve seals or turbo ?
im having a issue when i start the car when cold, it starts smoking and it has gradually gotten a little worse, once the car warms up it goes away, also under boost it doesnt smoke when warmed up

suggestions on how to check the valve seals ? or anyone had similiar problem ?

yes the intercooler piping doesnt have any oil, neither does the compressor housing on the turbo, im wondering if it is the seal on the turbine side or the valve seals, im gonna take the turbo tomorrow to get a opinion on it,

is it possible to check the top of the valves from the ports to check for leaky valve seals ? if this wasnt a turbo motor i would have guessed it was just the valve seals but wondering if it is the turbo, not sure how likely it is for a turbo to smoke when cold

Smoking on cold start is not coolant. Headgasket leaks when operating temps increase.

It is likely valve seals. If you have bad seals on the turbo, it will smoke when the turbo has been running for a few minutes.

i took the the turbo to get checked out today the tech over there said it looks fine, so i will be taking the intake manifold off tommorrow and lookin on top of the valves to see if i can spot witch is causing the problem if any
