Well, the dyno went ok. A little bit less power than I was expecting, but isn't that always the case? I made 308whp on 10psi. On the first run in 4th gear. Now, we forgot to have a fan running on the front of the car so it got really hot running to 157mph in 4th with no airflow. The 2nd run was only 295ish and power was dropping. Once we got the fan going we made another 307whp run, so I decided to go on to the 13-14psi run.
Here is the comparison from the first run at 10psi vs the 14psi run. On one of the 14psi runs I added approx 1* of timing.
After I made such a big difference in power from only 1* of advance, I decided to move the boost back down to stock 10psi where I made 317whp. But if I turned the smoothing off it made 321whp
After all the runs were done I got together some of my data from previous runs, and did some comparison, but some of my runs got accidentally deleted? There were a few really strong runs that quoted "Runtime error" when I tried to pull up the graphs for comparison. Teh sux.
Here is the graph 14psi, then adding 1* timing. Now the run pushed 14psi, but actually fell to 13psi after 6000rpm after everything settled. But I'm just gonna err on the safe side and say a solid 14psi.
Here is my new 14psi run vs Last seasons 25psi run. Now, the car is running a full exhaust now. So no more open downpipe. This is likely to affect power numbers just slightly, but spool is most def different. A little slower on the spool.
Here is the new graph vs my old Log manifold VET cam setup on 24psi.
