Yeah, Thats like saying I choose not to save money on quality car parts because they come from ebay.

I got mine off ebay, Genuine GE studs for 120 to my door. I think they are selling for a bit more than that now.

Just like i got my Eagle Rod and CP piston combo from ebay. All genuine parts for $740 to my door.

Anywhere else i was looking at $160 for the GE studs and about 900.00 for the piston and rod combo. So yeah choose not to save money. But thats retarded.

The video sums it all up. Out for a cruise in the Super Sentra, decided to get video getting on the freeway. My boy was having a blast. Here is him, and my wife's reaction to 3rd gear exploding at about 7500 rpm or so. On only 11ish psi. Sniff.

You can hear my wife "I knew it!" lol. Yeah she told me so. And now she rubs it in. This car likes breaking things lol. I just need a 6 speed. Oh well. I will rebuild it, get it on the road and registered completely. Then save pennies for a 6 speed for when this one grenades again.

that sucks, you definetly just need to go with the 6 speed man. No other way around it. Its just gonna keep happening. What were you using for gear oil as well.

i cranked the volume but i couldnt make out what she was sayin lol.. that sux dude i cant believe you have such bad luck with trannys.. were you able to limp it home?

i was able to limp her home. The selector got stuck a few times and made me slip the clutch through 4th gear lol. It wouldn't let me select 1, or 2nd. But I got it home.

I was just using Valvoline 80w90 and was going to switch back to something else, but I guess the best all around bet is the heavy shockproof. The tranny held up for a while on that stuff. It is sad to see a p11 break with maybe 310whp. I tell you what, the VVL sounds soooo good at 8500rpm!

i bet man, thats one sick ride ya got.. hopefully you can keep a tranny around long enough to enjoy it hehe
