Thread: s15 injectors actual size???

Can anyone help me out. This thread says s15 injectors are 444cc:

but many other people say that the brown s15 side feed injectors are 480cc. Can anyone clarify? I want to make sure I know what Im getting and that it will be sufficient for my needs. Thanks

S15 are 480. I believe GTi-R are 444 - but they're also top-feed. S15 are normal side-feed.

i made 321hp on 14psi with my s15 444 injectors and i had plenty more injector to go.I ran the motor at 18psi for almost 3 years without a problem running rich at that. I'v heard these injectors at 4 bar can flow at 520cc, i dont know how accurate that is.

Did you datalog at 14psi? Do you remember what duty cycle you were at? I have a gt28rs, 9.5:1, and cams. I am maxing out my maf and 370cc's at 8psi (102% duty cycle). I would like to turn it up to 10psi but I just want to make sure these can handle.

You should be more than fine to about 15psi on pump. I was running 15psi daily and 18psi when i really wanted to scare myself, my setup was gt2871r on my de 9:5:1 with BC stage 2's, z32 maf, s15 brick brown injectors 444cc @4 bar. The car took it like a champ, no detonation.

-Gtir = yellow/top feed.
-S15 = redish brick brown/side feed. They also listed as 480cc.

Listed as 480cc but I remember Ben @ JWT flowed mine years ago and they came back closer to 444cc. I had the S15 side feeds @ 4bar program made from JWT years ago. Best program I ever recieved from JWT before switching over to a daughter board.

This info is correct. They are said to be 480cc injectors but, they do not flow that high.

They are great injectors for the average turbo set up.

iirc they are 480cc @3.5bar. the s15 ran higher fuel pressure as i recall.

Hmm yeah I always thought they were 480cc.
