It is indeed a Greddy 18G and he needs to do something cause boost was falling off when it hit close to top end. Watch and see when he does the rain dance and gets the car to stay at 19-21 degrees base timing then you gonna see some beautiful numbers. Car pulls hard as fawk I tell you that much.

Ashton it said it in the first post about the leak

It definately effected the whole dyno though. Power fell off and so did boost towards the end of the chart where the turbo is just starting to make power. That was because all exhuast is leaking out of the...well...leak...and not going into the turbo. 22lbs needs a whole lot of exhaust. The car at 22lbs of boost should be hitting 400whp with everything being on point. But yeah its a Tq monster! I hate seeing peoples dynos with these huge turbos where the peak tq is like 300lb and its late as ****. This turbo lags just a lil and then hits hard.

I took it to the 1/8th mile last night and got an 8.3 at 88 on about 16lbs of boost. Couldnt turn the boost up anymore or the clutch would slip. I need a Dual diaphram Pressure plate. It killed an SRT-8 jeep with mods and a few other cars that shouldve won.

And Jerry, 19-21deg's of base timing it too much! Maybe 17 at the most. That 19-21 is for N/A guys.

Not bad man, Decent mph on that run too.

Not all big turbos are torqueless. My 60 trim is a bit larger than the 18g and my dyno on 19psi was 407whp, 365 Yours keeping the torque closer because the turbo size is great. You were right about the turbo being one of the most responsive torquey turbos out there that can still make big numbers but keep a very very wide powerband.

My turbo made great torque but it was laggy down low unlike yours.

Keep up the good work man. Im sure once you get everything squared away and set you will see the numbers you want.

my GT30R made 400lb ft. I had ex leaks before the turbo before, but they didn't effect power at all. Especially once the wastegate was open. It did effect spool though. Think about it though, your wastegate is basically a leak pre-turbo.

timing is the power-adder. Just take it easy. You don't want your motor looking like mine lol.
