Thread: Turbo rebuild Q's please help

Okay guys im planning on rebuilding 2 turbos I have from a 300zx twin turbo.

So they are T25 turbos from what i have been told.


Okay one of the turbos seems to have oil on the compressor side so that means the seal went out. So im trying to find a rebuild kit that has that seal so thats my question. I found a kit but i need to now if it has the seal and if it does which one is it?

I just looked over it quickly looks pretty thorough. I didn't buy the snap ring pliers. I just drilled two 1/8in or so holes in a small bench vise and stuck some nails in the holes. This method cost about $6 from the local hardware store instead of $60 and having to wait for the mail for the pliers
