They will actually as stated before probably help traction down low. With good tires and a stiff suspension set up you should have better traction, with more power and a better powerband.... Nike said it best...... "Just Do It " Johnny.... What the hell you got to loose? I have never seen them paired with an 18G but I believe that would almost be a match made it heaven and maybe even help with spool time. I want to see results on this cause like I said I have never worked on or known anyone who used this turbo on and sr20 but have seen them put down some good numbers on DSM's. I think the sr20 may put down better numbers per psi but there are so many variables. Just slap em in and decemate all, LOL

I run BFG Drag Radials all day. THey are my street tires! Suspension is perfect for drag racing/street and a lil fun run road racing. Im still spinning first for a sec and then I short shift to second, then second lights up also. I dont really use third much but if I do a rolling start itll spin a lil also and then grip up and go.

Totaled- yeah the cams sound perfect for my setup. Im just scared they will add even more Wheelspin to the car. I know they will make more power. But my thing is whats power if you cant put it to the ground below 60. I guess thats a pipe dream with this car though. Im getting used to that Z06 0-60. But yeah theres a guy running my turbo on a 4G63t and at 22lbs he put down right at 400whp. They seem to need more boost then us to make power though. So I should be right on the mark with my goal of a responsive ass 400whp NX. Everythings back together and running smooth though. So I should be dynoing sometime this month! Ill post results and my cam impressions after I install them. I guess if anything making the same power with less boost will be worth it. And that lope at idle! Ive been watching S4 vids on Youtube just to hear the idle

I actually know a guy who had a GT2871 that had S4's and took them OUT. Because he said all it did was spin more...

Stratt- you cant really talk since you JUST upgraded to a bigger turbo then the girly man GTi-R T28

Scrildo-your just mad cause im faster then you and that huge ass turbo!

go for the cams..ur car will pull much higher in top end..u can tune your set up for better top end to limit the wheel spin.u will break lose most if not all street tires when boosted-slicks are a must at the track

where can i find those s4's cams and how much $ they cost(i'm a noob in sr20 engine)
i recently got my DET swap finished and felt already that the engine is like runing out of breath over the 6.8k rpm.

What size rim you run? I really like 16's for the street but thats just me.

You can buy them new from Jim wolf technology for about 585. Or wait for a used set to pop up. I just sold my set to code3smith and I put them in for him. Idle is heavenly and the gain is well worth it. You will never say you regret putting them in. By far the best bolt on for both na or turbo hands down.

u can just give the s4's for me if your just gonna look at em all day long. I have traction issues as it is on first and second but at least i know i will have alot more power when i do that 60 roll LMAO
