I had S4's in my DE a few years back. NA. They simply make power, period. But I agree with totaled200ser, you could make the same power on less boost and have a more reliable setup. Plus, if you ever got tires or a trans that could hold more power, it'd be there once you turned up the wick.

Take it from me Johnny, put them in. Ive never ran any of my turbo setups without s4's in there. And ive driven my buddies t25, and now t28 car that doesnt have them and i can tell you the difference between mine and his car is huge at the same boost levels.

You wont regret it at all.

People, his problem is wheel spin. Telling him he'll make more power or hold it to redline doesn't do anyone any good. He wants to know what kind of difference it will make to his traction. Help? Hinder? Same but different?

i dunno what turbo he has, but id say that tirespin will be the same, maybe shift up a bit but the same.
I dont think the cams alone will make him lose traction in 3rd, if he has traction now he will with the cams and the car will pull harder, and in second he says he already has no traction, as was to be expected...

^I think Johnny is just thinking this out to much. A few weeks down the road and he might be like why did I make this thread lol. The question I have is what tires are you running? Maybe you could look into a better option to help hook-up?

Performance Street/Auto-X/Hill Climb/Time Attack Tires:
Falken Azenis RT-615 #2
Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec #2
Hankook Ventus R-S2
Kuhmo XS
Yokohama S-Drive

if he is having traction issues and the cams push his powerband into the mid up upper rpms this could help with traction issues. also are you running proper tires for the ammount of power you are making

Drop them in, you'll love them, I was not a believer till I put them in when I was de. I consider them a priority bolt-on, on de motors
