I posted this pic in the other thread.

I hope it helped sway your decision

There is zero reason why you shouldn't go S4, unless you can't handle the lopey idle. I swear it sounds like... really good lol.

At least let us know how the butt dyno feels upon first drive. You'll notice the difference RIGHT away.

I bought S4 cams from Ashton. I could tell immediately how much more power I was making, and I haven't even tuned the car for them yet. The idle is not anything like a loppy v8 cam, so I wouldnt worry about that. Its just a nice, slightly more aggressive idle. I think they are worth every penny.

Ok threw the cams in and everything went smoothly. Started the car up and let it idle a bit and it ran perfect. Made a bit of noise at first but thats supposed to be normal. Then I held the revs at like 4k for a minute or two and just let it sit.

First impression of going out and driving the car is that I dont feel anything. The car is definately fast just like it was. But the top end doesnt feel imeadiatly noticably stronger. Maybe its just my turbo is good all around so the gains arent as noticeable. I did race my boys 1000cc from a roll and kept up with him to the top of fourth at 20lbs. I dont know. Its feeling stronger and stronger everytime I hit it so I guess the ECU has to learn the cams. It doesnt want to idle right sometimes either. Please tell me that idle eventually gets worked out by the ECU....

Cars feels strong as **** though. I randomly ran into a guy putting a Bluebird in his SE-R and took him for a ride. He was speachless lol.

Oh good job on the cam swap btw where's my manners. And no the ecu will not learn and adjust for the lopey idle of the cams
