Thread: Intercooler kit

im curious on the engine setup in the pic what did they do with the black oil catch can or evap box in the front of the motor by the valvecover theres just a hose

got rid of it...

I don't have pics of my car but my friend snaped a few of his classic, he's using the big core intercooler

is that direct fitment for the b13 above thats a a nice piping kit

I got the same kit, and its installed in the same way, you can see it in my display picture, I dont have the pictures in this computer...
However, at least from what I can say from my personal experience from the avenir T25 and my GTi-R T28 the way in which you connect the piping to the turbo is slightly diferent, at least in my case with the T28 you just put a silicone coupler or similar to the piping, another one to the turbo and thats it, but with the avenir T25 I had to make a custom flanger which was "soldered" (not sure if thats the english word for it) to the piping and bolted to the turbo, but apart from that is pretty much a bolt on...

yeah i have been looking around for a different intercooler piping kit im not using the t25 but the gt2871r, however that piping kit is pretty nice, what was the price on it?

dont remember since im not from the USA I had to pay for shipping and taxes and stuff, and I dont remember the exact price of the kit...sorry
