When I say slow, I mean it's going to behave basically as if you had no boost controller at all and just the correct spring in the wastegate. Boost will roll on nice and smooth like factory. Good for traction.

If you use the other method the wastegate doesn't creep open as early, so you get a hard hitting boost build a bit earlier than normal and more aggressive. Usually not great for traction but it has it's own benefits. =]

true vi guess after i get my boost controller i can see what method i like the best just eager to up the boost ssome do you think i willsee boost creep from this style setup with the boost controller and the t setup

Nope, you shouldn't have any boost creep.

cool thats good you hear alot ofppl talk about boost creep with mbc i was going to install the mbc in the cabin but just optedb to install it in the bay, i wassnt sure if the longer hoses wouuld cause creep or anything

im having a issue with one of 2 things 1 vshould the side that you canblow on onthe t face the wastegate or face the other way my t doesnt have the arrow

2 i cant get my boost gauge to rwgister any boost readings i ted it off the bov line and the bov goes off but the boost gauge doesnt register any boost what could be the deal

The port you can blow through should connect to the wastegate. That's what it looks like from the diagram anyway.

what about the issues with the boostgauge do you think? i tapped into the bov line however i dont see a stitch of boost at all. i went to a gas station and blew some air into it to see if it worked or whatever and it was working just fine. what could be the issue, i havent tapped into anywhere else as of yet, i cant figure out why im not seeing bost, butt the bov deos work, so i dont know, where else would be a good place to tap should i tap the boost gauge straight off the boost controller? or off the fpr?

The charcoal canister vacuum line is where I like to get all of my boost and MAP signals. The brake booster vacuum line is also another good spot, as are some EGR ports. Stay away from using the FPR line.

I don't know why the gauge isn't showing any boost. Does it feel like you're making boost?

How exactly is the gauge plumbed into the system?

THE BOV LINE IS ON THE BRAKE BOOSTER PORT, THEN THE LINE IS T-ED OFF AND I RAN A LINE TO THE GAUGE the car def makes boost the bov is working but the gauge isnt the gauge doesnt have the negative psi just 0-35psi

sorry for the caps im posting from my phone

i was looking over thaat link i posted and someone was saying they use their boost controller like i have as a pinch valve and ditch the t and just hook it up from the wastegate and the pressure source and then all the way out is static and closed is no air flow thus max psi i was wondering if there would be a benifit over using the t setup if the boost would be a faster onset instead of the smooth onset of boost
