always remember if you are talking bhp or whp there is a difference 180bhp is only like 153whp...now 180whp is more like 207bhp

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was at 8 psi for almost a year! I always thought that 8 psi was closer to 180 hp. ( BHP BTW ). No wonder it would slip at high RPM's. HHHMMMMM My Exedy OEM kit has withstood my 8 psi DD so far.

I would like to go on the record as saying my Exedy OEM kit ( P/N KSN02 ) kit has withstood 8 psi for close to a year! Without exploding.

I've been at 10psi with my baby snail, and my OEM clutch is nowhere near holding the power. I only managed to push out 177whp on a dyno, with a motor that should have me in the 250whp range. Hell, I can't even roast thru second and part of third like most are doing.

I think the real question would be if you have a 200WHP N/A car and 200WHP Turbo with the same weight and driving skills. IMO like someone said before the turbo should be able to take the N/A vehicle for the way the turbo car reponds. Just a crazy thought.

exactly i mean if you think about it, most naturally aspired cars are good for high revving top end power. and if you have a 200whp naturally aspired car that makes top end power.

and a 200whp turbo car that makes peak power at lower rpm. the turbo is going to see quicker response off the line. and i cant imagine if the turbo is seeing faster peak power at lower rpms it would make any difference that the naturally aspired motor is even making 200whp as the turbo is going to beat it in response

it's a debate that i haven't seen neither on this or the old forum.

It's more of a curiousity question really.
