Thread: how much psi??

15 psi is commonly regarded as the upper safe limit. You can do more on pump gas, but like GT2871RBLUBIRD said, the life of the turbo seems to suffer quite a bit above 15 psi.

The thing isnt what the turbo can do but what you have to back it up, as long as it doesnt run lean you can run up to 18psi or so, but like they said, IMO I wouldnt boost it more than 16psi, so that it will last long...
I ran mine for like a month with the vacuum of the internal wastegate disconnected... 22psi But I highly recomend you not to do that, I only boost it up to that a couple of times

On 93 pump?

yeah... on an avenir DET with 370cc injectors, im still amazed nothing happened to it, but it didnt

Ran mine at 18-20psi spikes for over a year on 93 with no Issues. Ran My turbo I have now at 19psi and have had no issues either...
