Thread: Snow Performance Methanol Injection Kit

Hi guys... I need your opinion on this kit, its a Snow Performance Methanol injection Stage II kit... a friend of mine is selling me this, he bought it used from ebay I think and didnt use it, and hes offering it to me in a very good price... Has any of you guys ever used this kit, what do you think about it?...
Im planing on using it so I can run more boost, since im not from the USA racing fuel is very expensive and the car is my daily driver so I cant run it on racing fuel all the time so I thouht with that kit I could boost up my DET...

Just out of curiosity, are you running the kit they have specifically to be used with a MAF? or was it the regular stage 2 kit?

i was just thinking it might be a worth while upgrade when my car is up and running again.

yeah I think its worth it so we can run more boost on 93 octane pump gas... Ill post up some pictures of it tonight

All of the water/meth companies make pretty good kits. I have installed a couple of them, including Snow. I currently have a Coolingmist setup waiting to go on my car. That way I can run a little more boost on our crappy 91 octane Lower than ambient IATs don't hurt either.

back from the dead. Which kit(s) did you install Ben? The MAF kit or the one that reads off of manifold boost pressure?

also see the AEM being a possibility, My pockets aren't deep enough for aquamist haha.

Just looking for a little more input from some people who have used them. I plan to mount as much of the kit outside of the engine bay as possible ( Trunk ).

I'm getting the AEM kit for my 240. Going to run the snow boost juice in it tho. How far is the snow headquarters from you Eurokid? I'm just running AEM since they are local to me.

It was on a car with a MAP sensor, and it had a simple, adjustable, pressure-activated switch for determining if it was to turn on or off. I think that answers your question.
