But ours are FWD! Doesn't make sense, right?

I want a senseless sticker on my car, now.

You guys are hilarious. First of all, its just my opinion... no need to get all defensive. I'm sure you can set any car up to be better than another car regardless of platform if you put enough money into it. I've had many FWD, RWD and AWD cars and just prefer all wheel drive or rear wheel drive for that power level.

No ones defensive, but you apparently...

I too would prefer a nicely nodded STi, but until then I'll just hand out L's to them.

RELAX, and welcome to the forum.

lol, I'm being defensive... You're the one challenging me to a race because I posted that I don't like FWD over 200whp.

Traction.

In my experience, it sucks to have to use less throttle to compensate for lack of traction and too much torque steer... autocross, drag racing and even having fun on back roads. Of course with the right (big enough and sticky enough) tires and good suspension you can compensate but still. Maybe a bad example but my last car was a Mazdaspeed 3 with mild bolt on's. That thing even with 235/40/18 Falken Azenis spun and torque steered like crazy.

So do you believe that regardless of power level, even say with 400whp, that as long as your car is "properly set up", you can overcome the physics of weight transfer? I'm sorry but there is no advantage in racing/motorsports of any kind to having front wheel drive.

Everyone knows awd > rwd > fwd. That should be a given. I just wouldn't call a high HP car that is fwd, senseless.

And I called you out for no reason other than to prove your opinion wrong. Everyone that knows me knows that I'm not easily offended unless you take pop shots at my wife or kids.

Anyhow, my offer still stands. I'm looking to put my new azenis to use

i never once said it was the best. i just said you obviously have not driven a properly set up fwd car before. dont put words in my mouth.

i can tell you this though, ive ran past many 2004 STi's that were making more then your 296awhp/324awtq.
