Everybody always thinks its about MORE and MORE power with these cars. They think THATS whats gonna make them be able to keep up and they loose sight of what really makes these cars fast. Power to weight. Theres a ton of guys running around with 500whp that will get beat by all motor VE's down the 1/4. Its all about thinking your setup out. Its funny when I see guys with turbos running 14's when guys with VE's are running 12's. Worry about your tire selection, your weight, AND your weight distribution over the front wheels. Then worry about more power. A T25'ed B13 with weight reduction and drag radials is a 12 second car. With enough boost, good tires, and weight reduction you can squeeze an 11 out of one. Its not about the power its about the power band and how well thought out the setup is. People on this forum often loose sight of that.

MOAR POWR!!!
I wanna squeeze 11's out of my car with the ****tiest street tires I can slap on it
Seriously B, you don't NEED boost, and all the issues that come with it. It's high maintenance. I agree with Bes. VE with a 50~75 shot, and you're golden. This will also keep you in check a bit since when the bottle's dry, you're not going to be dogging the **** out of it
