I'm not sure why everyone thinks stis are that quick. Back when I was still on the 2.0 making between 200-210 I would play with stis all the time. Only one that really messed me up was a 500whp sc62 sti. But all the stock turbo ones really didn't get away on me.

I used to think EVO and STI owners were stuck up thinking there cars were so fast lol...

But im after the SRT-4 owners now those are pretty quick in the freeway and from a dig they do all right but the owners are pretty st***d lol.... I was talking to a couple of SRT-4 owners they were telling me how they got 50-80 whp from boring out their turbo compressor housing I started craking up so they got pissed off.

You guys don't need much to beat an STI or EVO. I don't know why everyone thinks they're so quick??? My wrx is DOG slow. After STG2 it'll be comparable to a stock STi, which will walk me top-side. Comparing apples to oranges, really. Now if I had any power worth mentioning, it'd be a different story. That also costs a bit more money than making an SER fast.

I walked a STI and EVO X in my taco from a 30mph roll.

See that's just it. They weren't designed to be street race/drag cars. When the snow falls, I know I won't have issues getting around town, though.
