Goal is 400whp, will it make it?

You can make 400whp on that setup at about 20psi.I made 350@ 14psi with a setup just like yours back in 06.Stock exh mani with t2 flange.

That is exactly what i explained to you though just not with a 2871 as the turbo in question.

Regardless of turbo choice, race gas allows a significant increase in timing and thats where all the power comes from. If you still ran 8.5psi but on c16 you could probably pull 295+ hp out of the same setup you just pulled 270hp out of just due to the ign timing.

You are at an advantage with the AEM. You just save the map under a dif .cal file name and when you want to run c16 or 109 unl or whatever you tuned the map for and just plug in the laptop and load the new map.

Then when you run out of the race fual you just put the 91 or 93 map back into the EMS and go to the pump.

Point is you will make alot more power at the same boost pressure with race gas because you will be able to tune alot more timing into it. Or raise boost pressure and tune in alot more timing and make alot more power.

When and if you are boosting that high... is it advised to run some sort of methanol or water injection?

^ thats more of a power adder. but its a power adder and acts as a safety buffer, more so than running a nitrous injection.

there are alot of benifits to running a cooling injection.

but it will also need to be tuned into your setup.

personally i have thought of running a cooling injection along with a nitrous intercooler sprayer....

How much power do you think Methanol injection will add to this set up and 22PSI?

well the methanol injection is going to work somewhat like c16 gas. effectivly raising the octane level of pump gas making it possible to do more timing..

obviously the methonal injection is a cheaper route for rasing the octane level of pump gas than going straight to c16 race gas.

but you could possibly see a great gain with methanol injection and a good tuning

^^^^^

Nice, If I decide to add that it will be way down the road. I'll do some more research on it.
