Thread: stock BOV good for how much power

So I was wondering how much power a stock bluebird/avenir BOV is good for? How much psi until it leaks?

crush it ala dms style and it will hold over 400whp. stock I would imagine they will leak a bit on 18psi, though I did 21psi at times with my disco without any real issues.

iirc they leak at 18psi stock.

if you do any type of leak test on the bov you need to apply pressure on the vac line that goes to it too, or you'll think it's leaking at really low pressure....

just thought I'd throw that in there...

if you do this it has no limit.
