Thread: Does anyone have an AVCR?

I bought a AVCR off a forum member and wired it up today and the only thing that happens is the buttons light up, nothing on the screen. I checked and double checked my grounds and power wires with the multimeter but i have them wired the same with the VAFC i have and it turns on fine. Is there something fishy goin on here or what?!?! TIA for any advice.

Not sure if your issue is resolved or not. You could try swapping with a local member in the regional section. If you were in Kansas city, I would have hooked you with one.

One thing I would do, use volt-meter to verify current and strength.

if power and ground is wired up correctly, youre going to get the splash screen. Make sure you have good power and ground at the least.

im using the same power and grounds my vafc are wired to, and i have tested with a volt meter and i have both good grounds and a good ignition source. The buttons light up but im not getting anything on the screen itself. I will try finding another ground source and see how that works.
