on another note, i wanna see how much power the stock sleeves can take. I bet it is a lot more than people expect! 700whp? I say hell yes.

I'd be more worried about getting a clutch and trans that will hold up.

BTW don't the JWT S4 cams have pretty similar lift to the VE, and N1 cams? I don't think you should have any issues there.

Competition twin disk with s15 24 spline disks, QR 6 speed with 85w 140 gear oil. I think it will hold just fine. If my b13 trans with that same gear oil can hold 550whp for as long as it does i dont think the qr trans will have any problem whatsoever.

Not to mention the b15 spec v has beefier axles than we already have as well. Both in the trans and at the hub.

So yeah a chute is in the plans for the car for sure man. I will be starting the build here soon. Im prepping the car for paint as we speak.

I have the 6 speed conversion parts on order, as well as the DIY turbo manifold with T4 flange. ill be running a 50 or 60mm gate. Precision T4 72mm turbo with .82 turbine.

ill be going with a 1200 or 1400cc injector, bosch 044 fuel pump with -10an feed line. Aeromotive regulator, and AEM management. Other than that, everything is coming along.

There are many better options than the 72mm turbo. A billet 67 would be a better choice, Spool would be about 500-700 rpms sooner than on the 72. You don't need a 60mm wastegate, 46mm PTE would be fine. Remember the bigger the gate the less boost you can run. If your going for huge power you don't need a huge gate. That fuel pump may run out I think you would be better doing 2 walbro's. Just some thoughts cause I know how bad a big turbo sucks to wait for. I will be swapping my 74 for a 67 soon.

QFT the new 67mm are nice. Its going to be a crazy season. But you can never have too much gate imho

well the 72 isnt that bad. I was asking the guy that im looking at getting it off of when it made full boost by and he was actually running it on an s13 sr motor, full boost by 6k rpm. I think it will spool even faster with a ve head and not to mention i will be reving out to 9500. So it will give me quite a bit of powerband. Not to mention the 72 will make more power on less boost.

Precision PT67 Turbo T3/T4 PT 6776 Garrett GT37R 67mm : eBay Motors (item 390058846098 end time Apr-08-10 09:00:45 PDT)

I was thinking of this one, The billet turbo is just way too much and i cant justify spending that much just for a little bit better spool.

The 72mm im trying to pick up im getting for $600 shipped, its good to just over 800whp which is plenty for this motor. I dont want to push a turbo to the limits to get to the power level im looking for. So if a turbo is good to only 750, which is right where i want to be then its obviously maxed to get there. I dont want that.

Yeah you want to run as big of a gate as you can to keep boost creep away. I know on my 60 trim although mounted on a generic short runner tubular manifold at a 90 deg angle the 38mm gate would not keep up with the turbo running on just gate pressure i should only see 14psi, well by redline ive seen up to 22psi. So i was thinking of a 50mm gate but again there are soo many options out there. I will be doing my own as close to possible equal length mani, larger runners and mazworx collector on a T4 flange. This stuff is already ordered so im sticking with the T4 turbo.

Again the comments are great guys and keep throwing out the ideas. Im all for them.

I can get you an unbeatable deal on the billet 67 which is good for 950WHP, and a 46mm wastegate.
