The 6262 is an awesome turbo for what it is. Can make up to 700whp in some cases and its only a 62mm turbo.

I was thinking about using one for my build but it wont make what i want to make with it. So im going with at least a 70mm t4 turbo. Im undecided as to what turbo to use as im still doing research on them.

Alright, thank you for answers.

Now, the PTE HP6262, GT3788R and the HTA3586R apparently outperform the GT3582R, but among those 3, which one will you choose?... and what about the PTE HP6265??

The only problem I've heard with the HTA3586R is that the guys @ Forced Performance take for ever to ship anything.

Cheers,

Have you looked at the Precision 6765 Billet wheel? I've seen EVO's make 800hp+ on a T3 exhaust housing..

For me the HTA3586R is out of the question.

It's very hard to choose between the PTE HP6262 and the GT3788R. For me it would be up to which one took less fabrication work to make it fit. The GT37 is going to take work to get the V-band on the downpipe. I'm not sure what it would take to get the PTE HP6262 hooked up. =/

Apparently around 40-45 psi the PTE HP6262 has made around 780+ WHP on some 2.0 liter engines.

Which is insane for a 62mm turbo. Again thats absolutely pushing it. Thats the trouble im having. I want something that is plenty capable of making between 700-800whp. T3 or T4 with an undivided housing.

There isnt alot of choices. So far ive got the choice between a Borg warner 70mm turbo which is capable of 900+, or a Precision 6765 which is capable of 800whp as well.

I would like to go with a 1.XX turbine housing just to keep backpressures down, I dont need a quick spooling turbo as as long as it has a powerband from say 6k-9500 im perfectly fine with that and that would be a hell of a powerband.

Decisions decisions.
