anyone know if the 6262 has way too much lag?
im planing on building an VE for say 500whp, and was thinking bout the 6262 but the lag worries me...
I just installed a MP T60 in my DE and the lag is acceptable, but I wanted something bigger for the VE which I hope to have fully built by the end of the year...

The twin scroll stuff boosts quicker, but not by a huge amount. The open housings flow better and make more power. But a lot of the larger turbos utilize the TS because they need all the spool they can get.

What you go with Nizmosis? Going for 700whp?

true but their are a couple of the 8 second hondas using the open housing large turbos. Again when your reving to 10k plus as long as you start making insane power by 6k your golden. 4k worth of powerband is more than you would need.

Yeah im convinced to stay open housing. Large turbine to keep backpressures down less than boost pressure which will definetly help keep things cool, to run c16 without having to use water/meth injection.

I cant wait. Finally got some stuff sold. Time to order some parts.

Alright, I'm about to buy a new Precision 6765 (billet wheel) with a T3 0.82 a/r turbine and S cover. The thing is that I'm between the ball bearing and the journal bearing version. Any experience regarding full boost rpm on both of these versions?

Cheers,

All I know is that there's an $800ish price difference between the two.

I know!! That's why I want to know if xx rpm of additional powerband are worth that kind of money.

Edit: Too late for regrets, already ordered the ball bearing version......
