bes yeah man, the car is gonna be alot more fun to drive !! im considering some new concave rims, might as well hit this summers car scene hard. bigger turbo, cf hatch, wire tuck and new rims would just set it off.

rob96 no worries man feel free to ask away. we are all here to help eachother with info. thats what this community is about !

i would recommend the ext pp and 6 puck. but thats me. driveability is fine, the clutch is smooth as far as im concerned and grabs like a beast. keep in mind its not gonna feel like a stock clutch, a lil stiffer then what you got now. nothing major and nothing you cant or wont get used to.

Id say I like your original idea more. A 2871r will be just as safe if not safer @ 18psi(less backpressure/heat).. but itl be more fun. If your gonna go through the trouble up grading do it right!

Either way it'll b great, just my opinion

cory, just lets talk about this for a sec. think itll be fine. alot of people are telling me to go with the 718r...

really i want more power as much as i can get safely. i know i have gone over this a bunch of times with you guys lol.

a 718r is a 400whp capable turbo. dont think that would be to much for a stock jdm de. or are you saying at 18 pounds it will be fine ?

what ex housing would you recommond ? got a direct link to the website ? im a turbo noob really (ive been running a gtir-t28 for almost 3 years LOL ;( ).

i will go with the 718r with a .86 exhaust housing if you're staying at 18 psi. the motor will be fine and at the same time you are not going to overwork the turbo, making your engine and turbo last longer...

Stratton,

Don't underestimate the DE bro. DE's can handle a lot. A nice healthy DE will take anything a 71r can throw at it. Trust me on this. If the option of getting the 71r is available I would chose that over a Disco. Get your pulsar manifold set up for an external gate and ride out!
