Thread: finally ! upgrading my turbo !!

I'm a hair spray kinda guy myself. I gotta hold 25psi of boost, and hair spray does the trick. Oh Yah!

hair spray all day the hell with bead rolling and wasting money. Hell just weld some little bumps on the ends and your mint.

trying that hairspray deal today, keep blowin off the pipe at 11-12lbs

Your telling me that your Worm clamps and hair spary were holding 25psi reliably?

yup, bead welds on all my pipes, t-bolt clamps with the nylon on the nuts. no reason to skimp on something so vitale.

I have seen worm clamps hold 30psi no problem

what about zip ties ? how much psi have you seen them hold ?? haha.

worm clamps are for garden hoses.

zip ties can hold 15 but might need to double them up but I think they can do it.

after seeing the power of hairspray myself, I was very impressed. I have Tbolts and I was still blowing couplers off. Hair spray and gorilla tape replaced the tbolt clamp that fell off when the pipe blew on the freeway. I'll tell you what, that held amazingly well in a pinch. Held 25psi and 175mph. That's when I made that video lol.
