Who runs Drag radials as street tires.
Who out there runs DR's for street tires. I am looking to do this for traction. this is a street car but is not a DD. What kind life do you get out of the tires and what brand are you running. I am thinking about M/T for my car.

MT's are great tires but, they will wear very quick if you drive on the street a lot.

If you want a decent DR that will last a while I would consider the Nitto 555R's.

Nitto's don't come in the right size. I want to run a 205 50 r15. This car will only be driven a max of 1200 miles per year. I am not super concerned with tread life.

I would like to but don't think they will fit either set of rims I have. I think my koing's are 15x6.5.

I run 225/45/14's all day long. But they dont make them in that size anymore apparently so Im going to jump up to a 15" and see if BFG makes them in that size for 225's. Theres no other way to drive on teh street without drag radials unless your just daily driving the car and not trying to have fun. Cause other wise my car is worthless in every gear except 5th at WOT. But if you want good drag radials that last pretty long and GRIP get the BFG's. Apparently they are in the middle of the Nittos and the Mickys wear wise...

BTW I got that money order out today. Sorry it took so long.

looks like 225 50 r15's will fit and bfg will be the tire to use. Bfg up front and RS-2's in the back.
