Thread: 10 second SE-R

Mark the motor has rods and pistons, everything else in the motor is stock which was a shock to me. I thought he had cams in the motor but I was dead wrong. Stock 5spd and stock axles.

very impressive however im not suprised, alot of people underestimate the capability of the sr20 motor. this makes me proud to own a sr20

Why does he not have a standalone and cams? That would drop him into the 9's

Well because maybe he does not want a stand alone and maybe he will be getting some cams soon.

Cams and equal length manifold will get that guy going much faster.

There are alot of cars on JWT ECUs making 600-700 WHP so the JWT ECU is not really holding him back.

Edit: All im gonna say is budgets can be long gone when it comes to anything more than about 550whp.

but you never dynoed so your car was still at 461.

You didnt make anything above that unless you dynoed it.

^I was wondering about that as well. So what all did you do to pick up the extra 90WHP? You post so many different scenarios, I'm not sure what the change was beside the intake manifold.
