^Wow, I never thought that the dowel pins could be a reason for this. I don't have either one on my B14 trans and been running like this for quite some time. I guess I will have to get some in there when I install my new flywheel/clutch setup.

Good to hear they are helping you out Ashton. I wanna see your car make one solid clean pass man. I wanna boost damnit, haha.

Are you running a sprung or unsprung hub? The sprung clutch disc are more tolerant than the unsprung.

I'm currently running an ACT 6 puck unsprung. I was having issues with my old B13 trans. I noticed a weird whirling noise it made while I accelerated and finally it started doing this to my clutch disks. I then switched to a B14 and still ran no dowel pins. I will have to go to the tranny graveyard and pull them out of one of my old trans.

Yep, wouldnt run without them, i know better than that. The pins are there for that exact reason, to align the trans and input shaft up perfectly with the clutch.

Yeah im very glad they are sticking by their products even in these hard times. Especially since i have the only one they have ever even sold for our cars.
