Right now there's two stations close to my house that have it and one right down the street from the shop, so i can get more than i need.

I should have went with 1200cc injectors but my friend switched to something bigger in his Evo and past those on to me. Compared to how much i would have to spend for racing gas or new injectors i think it idles beautiful .

I know Gio is running 740cc in jectors and he also mentioned that from time to time he gets a little stumble but, that could be a number of things. A little stumble in the idle is livable. No different that the DE guys with big cams.

Thing is we get spoiled with the smooth idle from the VE's. As long as things go great at WOT then things are cool!

Closest one to me is about 20 min away. I really wouldn't mind because my car is not my DD and I also have to store it for 5 months out of the year because of the Winter weather. I can always keep some in a jug.

Does anyone know what the shelf life is on E-85. Does is split apart like C-16 does?

Q. Does ethanol have a shelf life and will it lose its octane level like gasoline does?

A. If it is sealed tightly it will last for years if stored in steel, SS or ethanol-tolerant plastic.

Sounds good. My car sat for two weeks with a full tank and it started right up and drove normal.

And FYI,

The myth that Ethanol will eat your fuel lines/etc. is false. Since the early 1990's, ethanol has been used to a certain percentage in all unleaded gasolines (E10, 10% ethanol). Vehicle manufacturers took this into consideration and built vehicles around this tidbit of information.

I always wondered why people would go out of their way to run "ethanol compliant" fuel lines and fittings/etc, when their stock hardware is sufficient.

Ethanol is messin up some boats fuel tanks because of the fiberglass that was used back in the day for the fuel tanks but I dont think its going to hurt our tanks.

I dont think those kits are allowed in some of the classes or else I would use it. I'm not sure exactly but the rules for the drag cars make my head spin
