Closest one to me is about 20 min away. I really wouldn't mind because my car is not my DD and I also have to store it for 5 months out of the year because of the Winter weather. I can always keep some in a jug.

Does anyone know what the shelf life is on E-85. Does is split apart like C-16 does?

A. If it is sealed tightly it will last for years if stored in steel, SS or ethanol-tolerant plastic.

Sounds good. My car sat for two weeks with a full tank and it started right up and drove normal.

And FYI,

The myth that Ethanol will eat your fuel lines/etc. is false. Since the early 1990's, ethanol has been used to a certain percentage in all unleaded gasolines (E10, 10% ethanol). Vehicle manufacturers took this into consideration and built vehicles around this tidbit of information.

I always wondered why people would go out of their way to run "ethanol compliant" fuel lines and fittings/etc, when their stock hardware is sufficient.

Ethanol is messin up some boats fuel tanks because of the fiberglass that was used back in the day for the fuel tanks but I dont think its going to hurt our tanks.

I like the idea of E85 accept for the avalibility , I am using AEMs water meth ikt , instead to help out ....I think it is another great option

I dont think those kits are allowed in some of the classes or else I would use it. I'm not sure exactly but the rules for the drag cars make my head spin
