T25 Wastegate on a T28?
I am installing a GTi-R T28 to replace the W10 T25 on my P11. The WG Actuator I received on the T28 is bigger than the one on the T25.
When I clocked the T28 down the bigger WG actuator won't clear without grinding the block a bit like 1/2-3/4 in.

So can I use the smaller WG actuator without a problem? I'd like to know now before I put it all back together.

Yeah you can as long as it fits the 28 like it does the 25. Make sure that your wastegate flapper is/can close all the way though when you have it installed before putting the turbo on the car

You will need to use the T25's wastegate holder. The T25 WG arms are much longer then the T28 ones.
