I need help... a lot
I have a w11 avenir mated up to a b14 lsd tranny. Motor and everything is in the car and the harness is mostly hooked up. The problem is I have a bunch of plugs that seem to have nowhere to go. I have all these wires that I guess are grounds because theyre single wire connections that look like they go on to a metal tab, but I have no tabs for them.

There are 3 or 4 plugs off of the tranny harness (the part that goes to the oil pressure sensor) that have no sensors on the back of the motor. The engine harness is hooked up to the knock sensor, AAV, IACV, coolant temp sensor, TPS and I have the tranny harness back there with no sensors to go onto. Where do they go?

Also, the alternator connection has 3 of the 4 wires hooked up to the alternator, but theres the 4th one that looks like it goes onto a metal tab. Once again, I see no metal tab.

I bought this harness back in June, and think it may not be right. It has no wire for the coolant sensor that goes back to the temp gauge on the instrument cluster. Its just not there at all.

All the other plugs have fit though. A few wires had to be extended but I know thats normal with a jdm motor and usdm harness.

Sorry for the long post. Ive been stuck for a few days on this

Why did you buy another harness out of curiousity? Also whats your car and what year?

The alternator one (loose one) is for the AC compressor. It just sits there. Post pictures of the other ones and we can help you. I cant remember for sure. But I didnt have to extend any wires for my Avenir I dont think. Not even the grounds on the Intake manny. What did you have to extend?

B13 Kev the prob is that alot of these plugs look the same. So it can be confusing.

On my bluebird, same motor pretty much, the only wires i had to extend was the one for the aac valve.

yes, it has a two wire plug and there are two hoses connected to it.....do not break it like i did! i had to wait 3-4weeks for a new one from Greg V. since appearently they are not really made anymore.
