Massive Oil Leak On My B13 And Has Suburu Sound
well guys i got a b13 and swapped a bluebird in it. it was workin fine. till one day my whole engine bay was soaked with oil. i noticed that the dipstick was poped out. so every time i would run it the dipstick poped out. also i have a big oil leak idk from where i do know i got to get my oil pan replaced and i do have them. also theres white smoke coming out my exhaust and ever since it messed up it has a suburu boxer engine sound. also when ever i put clean oil, which is frequently because it leaks it, it alwasy comes out dirty or black rite way. i took it for a spin today and i saw some oil in the exhaust. ANY IDEAS WHAT MIGHT BE WRONG WITH IT? REALLY NEED HELP ON THIS ONE GUYS. THANX FOR HELPIN PM ME WITH ANY IDEAS.

I Bought It From One Of Those Japan Motor Selling Places. Well If U Think Thats What It Needs. Imma Wait For More Forum Members To Give Me They Opinion. I Was Thinkin It Was More Of A Headgasket Prob. Call It A Hunch.

if its blowing the dipstick out you have excessive blowby, Take the breather tube off the valve cover where it T's on the driver side of the valve cover, Have the engine running and see if there is smoke and oil coming out of the valve cover, If so your ring lands are toast or there is a hole in one of the pistons.

In that case you will need to rebuild. That would cause no compression on the cylinder which is why it sounds like a subaru. Compression test will tell you everything you need to know. If compression is very good and you just have oil leaks, fix them and try to find why its misfiring. Progress of elimination. But if your bay is soaked in oil my expertise says blown ring lands or melted piston.

it does blow smoke out of the valve cover. i had a breather an a bunch of smoke comes out when i rev it. fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu*k i waz hopeing it was a headgasket.

nope, if your mixing coolant into the oil then it could have blown the headgasket as well but thats not causing the smoke.

Broken ring lands. Time to rebuild and from experience your going to have to have the motor bored and use aftermarket pistons to accomidate. You can pick up a piston and rod combo for around $740 shipped is what i got mine for. CP pistons and Eagle rods, get a good hg like Cosworth and maybe a set of Golden Eagle B16a headstuds or Mazworx headstuds. Might as well build it if your gonna tear it down.

You will need to build it becasue i can gurantee you there will be damage on the cylinder walls from the detonation. Thats what took your motor out to begin with. Good luck and do some searching. There is a ton of info on here.
