Thread: Another one of these threads: Name that noise!

Not really. I've been thinking this for a while now, long before your thread surfaced. I know I've had some head noise, but it just seems more prominent lately. Could be the exhaust leak partially. Who knows.

Sometimes I'll have to load a video file into Vegas Video to collect the audio from it and then pass it into a true audio software package. Sometimes I'll have to run the video through VirtualDub to get it into a format that's workable as well.

This is all second nature to me being a trained A/V editor. I'm not sure if your typical person is going to want to jump through the hoops. I bet if you had a Mac to work with your iPhone-created .mov file that shіt would make your car run silent and maybe polish your knob when it's finished.

If only I had the cash flow for a Mac right now. Thanks for rubbing it in

No, that was a joke. I can't in good conscience recommend a Mac to anyone.

I'm the opposite. I happen to like the newer Macs far better than a PC. OTB it's far better. Every time I visit my parents, I practically steal my dad's macbook.

Not to completely derail this thread but you realize that Macs are PCs as well, right?
