have the QTP on the turbo P11 and DMH on a N/A 07 si, one of my fav mods. Car is totally stock sounding when the gate is closed, and sounds mean once i open it up. So far i have only had to get the QTP rebuilt once cause I scrapped the hell out of it, but other than that, they have both held up fine.

Update
Well I just got done installing the electric part of the cutout today, and all I can say is this thing is awesome!! With the butterfly closed, the car is as quiet as it was when it was bone stock. Boost is super responsive and the low end is great for the daily grind. Then when you open it up, the top end is a night and day difference with the cutout. One of my better investments.

Which cutout did you end up purchasing? Is it boost actuated?

3" cutout from jegs. It's electronic. Wish I bought it sooner. Definately recommend the jegs one. It was the cheapest one I could find that came from a reputable distributor.

the y pipe is in place of the cat (sorry earth). Its a nice spot cuz I could then run the wires for it right up through the shifter hole and the switch is under the shift boot so nobody sees a switch. Plus I didn't feel like cutting my console up either. I'll try and take a pic on my phone tomorrow if I remember. Its a little lower than I'd like it, but my car isn't too low.
