Platinum's are gapped at .044 by default. Now they say do not gap, but maybe the turbo ones do need to be gapped?

NA or turbo. You run the largest gap you can until you start to run into issues. Obviously you'll need to close the gap as you raise boost level..

thats a given, it also depends on your ignition set-up, say a dude with an msd blaster coil, magnecor wires, and a msd ignition box. He can run a wider gap than another guy with the stock set-up.

Yup the guy w the msd would be able to run a wider gap. Sp like I said you run it as large as your set up will allow.......

My car made 5whp on side gapped plugs vs identical ones gaped around .032, which is what they come with new. Side gapping helped me reduce the amount of spark blow out along with a better burn, thus increased power.


good too know thanks..havent dyno'ed yet..cant find a good one,most here tune muscle cars or hondas,their not too familiar with nissans..
